No, but we recommend that you install a Microsoft Dynamics GP client on the SQL Server. Whenever a new build of your EthoTech product is installed on your system, install it first on the Microsoft Dynamics GP client on the SQL Server. This way all table updates are performed directly on the SQL Server rather than over the network.
