Is there a setting in Commission Plan that allows the commission rate field to show 3 or more decimal places? (i.e. 7.025%)

The short answer is No.

Commission Plan was originally developed for GP 3.0 in 1996. At that time, a development design decision was made to use a Data Type of integer for all percent fields. This means we only get 5 digits, of which only 2 can be "decimal places".

Since this product's release, there have been thousands of companies who purchased Commission Plan and in turn, have made modifications to reports and forms as well as developing other customization's that make use of the percentage fields.

At this point in the life cycle of Commission Plan, changing the percentage fields to a different data type would break every modified report and form as well as every customization developed for Commission Plan that uses these fields.

With this being the case, we intend on leaving the data type on the percentage fields as an integer, which will provide you with 2 decimal places for commission rates.
